BLT Fitness + Nutrition will challenge your body and mind during an intense full body workout that is designed to burn fat and build strength while helping you breakthrough your own limitations. Every group training session is led by an experienced and certified personal trainer and is designed to be fun and high energy. BLT created this boot camp challenge for anyone who is ready to stop making excuses and get the results they want!

Join CoYo for a free, all-levels yoga class that will move, groove, and flow to upbeat music. Each week will feature a different sequence and peak pose. This class is great for people new to yoga or students who want to re-connect with their fundamentals. Emphasis is placed on a strong foundation practice that you can build on for years to come. Basic postures, as well as transitions, like step-throughs and chatturangas, will be covered in depth.

Get a closer look at the night skies with our friends from the Memphis Astronomical Society (MAS)! They will provide telescopes to help view constellations, planets, and star clusters. These events begin at sunset.
Want a dog that is polite, happy and cooperative, both inside and outside of your home? Want to have a dog that is a pleasure to walk, take on adventures, and to introduce to new people and situations? Manners 101 is the foundation course you need to help you and your dog reach this goal! We use gentle, effective, training methods based on the science of how dogs learn to help you build a cooperative and lasting bond with your dog. This class is designed as a basic manners course for dogs 4 months and older who have had no previous obedience training, or who need a refresher.

Stroller Strides® is a total fitness program that moms can do with their babies. It includes power walking/jogging and intervals of strength and body toning exercise using exercise tubing, your stroller, and the environment. Taught by certified fitness instructors with specialty training in the pre and post natal woman, it is a great workout for any level of exerciser. All of our instructors abide by the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists’ recommendations for exercises. Stroller Strides® instructors weave songs and activities into the routine designed to engage and entertain baby, while moms are led through a series of exercises specific to her role as mom.
The strength and balance class will be a 45 minute class designed for seniors and people with type 2 diabetes. Participants will work with light hand weights, resistance bands and small inflatable balls. Class will start with a brief warm-up followed by strength training and light cardio, finishing with a cool down and stretch.

Relieve stress and increase flexibility by participating in Tai Chi classes led by a certified instructor Richard Link, a Senior Trainer at Tai Chi for Health Institute. Tai Chi is an ancient practice that is enjoyable and safe for every fitness level. The slow, meditative movements of Tai Chi increase strength, range of motion and coordination. Classes can be enjoyed either sitting or standing. Comfortable shoes and loose clothing are recommended. Please bring a personal water bottle.

This free cooking class will be taught by an instructor from the Whole Foods Salud Cooking Schoo and will feature health tips for eating and living well. Participants will also learn simplistic recipes to make at home!

Strength training and general conditioning
This fitness class is a combination of strength training and conditioning designed to increase power, muscular endurance, cardiovascular fitness, and coordination while building muscle and burning fat. Equipment such as medicine balls, resistance bands and weight bars are used to target each participant’s ability. Come experience overall improved fitness while being coached by trainers from NBS Fitness in Memphis.
When: Fridays at 12pm - Classes will resume on January 12, 2018.

Join us at the FREE FIT4MOM Run Club community meet-ups! We welcome moms of all stages, as well as friends, family members and kids of all ages. Our FIT4MOM Run Club 'Coach' will lead you in a family friendly warm-up, then lead a self-paced 2-mile run to meet your skill level. A 1-mile kid fun run will also be set up at each community meet-up for all the little aspiring runners.
FIT4MOM Memphis Run Club community meet-ups will take place August - early November on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month at Shelby Farms Park. The group will meet at the Woodland Discovery Playground for the run and plan to stay afterwards to hangout with other families at the playground. All runs are stroller friendly. Come RUN with us!!

Does enjoyment for all include your dog? Or, are you concerned that the holiday buzz and excitement does not lend to your dog remaining well behaved? This is a common them in households with dogs. Many worry about their dogs jumping on friends and family who visit. Some dogs are so excited it is hard to enjoy time with relatives or their dogs cannot ignore the great holiday food.
Enrolling in a class that helps you teach your dog behaviors to do in these situations can create a more relaxed holiday season for all, especially you. Instead of worrying about what your dog will do, practice some behaviors so everyone enjoys the holidays including you and your dog.
