Woodland Discovery Summer Camps

Nature Camp: Grades K-2 | Adventure Camp: Grades 3-6

In 2011, the Park launched its first summer camp and this year the programming options, much like the Park, have been expanded and improved. In the past few years, Shelby Farms Park has added new amenities and attractions that help shape the Park and its mission to become the next great urban park of its time. The Park's programming brings this mission and the Park's improvements to life.

This year's programming aims to connect Memphis youth to their park, to their food system, to their watershed, to their urban forest, and to themselves. With its upland lakes, cypress swamps, walking paths and biking trails, buffalo, barn owls and beaver, Shelby Farms Park encourages kids to connect with nature through exploration, inspiration, discovery and fun.
