Family Fun Hikes
Led by a Shelby Farms Park Interpretive Docent, these family fun hikes are great educational recreation for adults and children of all ages! Reservations are not required, but are appreciated.
Please remember your walking shoes, appropriate outdoor clothing, and water bottles! Due to the tripping hazard, please leave your pet at home. Please meet at the Shelby Farms Park Visitor Center.

Great Backyard Bird Count
Join us for the annual Great Backyard Bird Count! This event, launched by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and National Audubon Society, helps provide worldwide data on wild bird populations in near real-time.
This event is free and open to all ages. Participants will meet at the First Tennessee Foundation Visitor Center and then venture out into the Park. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Binoculars are recommended. Please leave pets at home for this event.
