Why did you get involved with Shelby Farms Park? I have an appreciation for the amenities and recreation offered at the park, as well as the great possibilities it presents.

What's your favorite thing to do at the Park? I like walking around Patriot Lake, observing the bison and riding the bike trail.

What's your favorite place in Memphis (other than Shelby Farms Park)? Actually, it would be several places--Autozone Park for the Redbirds, Beale Street for the entertainment, the Cannon Center for the sound and Racquet Club for the recreation.

Shelby Farms Park is a truly special place. We must all acknolwedge the conscience and commitment of those who have embraced the Park over the years and those who have vested it's future to the present Conservancy. I recognize the sanctity of the asset and the seriousness of the mission. I am excited about preserving and building the next great park for the 21st century.
