Why did you get involved with Shelby Farms Park?  Shelby Farms is one of Memphis's most prized treasures.  The potential is unlimited.  I wanted to be a part of this fabulous project.

What's your favorite thing to do at the Park?  When my daughters were younger, we would go to the park after school and on the weekends to fly kites.  My oldest daughter (before she went to college) would go to the park for Sunday evening picnics with her classmates.  I always felt it was a safe place for her and her friends.  

What's your favorite place in Memphis (other than Shelby Farms Park)?  Riverside Drive.  Our downtown river has come a long way.  It's great to see people enjoying an evening stroll or jog along the beautiful river.  Of course, all the Memphis in May events are very special to our city, as well.

Shelby Farms Park is a true jewel of our community.  Properly planned and managed, it can become one of the most recognized parks in the country.
