Hey, park fans. Spring is nigh, and the weather is alternately glorious and horrible, which means I must be in Memphis. Now, I'd like to share something with you. I have the uncanny ability to avoid all weather forecasts. Though I may look foolish walking through the rain without an umbrella or tromping through snow in my flip-flops, rest assured that it's a always a perfectly cool fall day in my head.

I'm going to make a completely unsubstantiated assumption and say the weather is going to be wonderful this weekend, and I'm going to encourage you to come out to the park and check out the innovative design exhibition at the Visitors Center. We need your feedback! My good students already know that three designers are competing to come up with a master plan for the park. The final plan can contain elements from any of the three designers, so we really need you to tell us what you like and dislike about each plan. So, make park plans this weekend. It’ll be great! You can go for a walk/run or ride your bike/horse. You can bring your family/iPod and enjoy picnicking/meditating. It’s been a long hard week and you deserve some playtime!
