The GreenShoe Gala is an annual fundraiser for Shelby Farms Park. This unique and elegant event features Mother Nature as the guest of honor. Each year, an artist creates a fabulous new "GreenShoe" which is available for purchase at the live auction during the GreenShoe Gala.

The program for the GreenShoe Gala includes a cocktail hour featuring a jazz quartet, a seated dinner with a speaker, a live "green" auction and an evening of dancing under the stars with Andy Childs providing the soundtrack.

Tools allow me to create. I gather them, I horde them, I covet them. It just seems natural to want to fuse the tools into the body of the shoes, forging an object of desire.
