Public Exhibition

You can see the three design teams' models on display in the month of March, 2008. From March 6-15, you can catch the exhibition at the Central Library. From March 17-31, the exhibition will be at the Shelby Farms Park Visitor Center. Satellite displays without the models will be available for viewing all month at Shelby Farms and a third location to be determined. When you visit an exhibition, you can tell us what you think about each design. At the end of the process, we are choosing a master planner, not a master plan. The competition is set up in such a way that we own each design and can choose elements from any of them to appear in the final design.

All of the master plan designs will be available here on the SFPC Web site for review and comment from March 6 - March 31.

Approval Process

Once a master planner is chosen and the final master plan is created, it must be approved by three entities: The Shelby Farms Park Conservancy Board, the Agricenter Board and Shelby County Commission.
