Whistle While You Work Crew!
Whistle While You Work crew meets first Saturday of the month. Volunteers will help repair trails around the park. Maintenance projects range from mulch spreading, gardening, removing dead tree limbs, and removing privet. Dates fill quickly!! Go to volunteermidsouth.org to sign up.
Information for volunteers before you sign up:
*All events are rain or shine unless otherwise noted. Please plan to arrive at your commited time regardless of weather. Dress accordingly (rain poncho, sturdy shoes).
*Please call or e-mail in advance if you are unable to attend at the time you were scheduled. Events have maximum numbers of volunteers, and a no-show might prevent someone else from volunteering.
*Trail work is dirty! If you're worried about your hair, your nails or getting messy, this might not be the volunteer position for you.
*If you make an appointment, please keep it. We're counting on you!
Contact Sandee Daniels, volunteer coordinator, to find out more about any of these opportunities at 901.767.PARK, ext. 309 or by e-mail at sdaniels@shelbyfarmspark.org
