We want to give a very special thank you to everyone who sent photos of their dogs to us! See if you can find your furry friend in the photo above.
This week, we celebrated one of our favorite days of the year - National Dog Day! Shelby Farms Park is a popular place for pups. And, we have lots of paw-some ways that you can celebrate, remember or honor your four-legged friend.
The Outback Off-Leash area features more than 100 acres that are designated for off-leash fun for you and your pup! Generously sponsored by Jim Keras Subaru, this area is fun unleashed! Click here to plan your dog's next visit to the Park.
Purchase a Dog Tag or Paver Stone
These personalized tags come in official Park colors and a variety of shapes. These tags hang on a special sign in the Outback Off-Leash Dog Park. They not only represent a tribute to an adored four-legged friend, but also an investment in this special part of Shelby Farms Park.
You can also honor a special pet or pet-lover on the Legacy Walk located at the entrance to the Outback Off-Leash Dog Park. With your donation, your personalized engraved paver stone is added to the welcoming walkway in the Dog Park. Remember, all proceeds from the sale of the tags and pavers help maintain the dog park and give our dogs a place to do what they do best -- run, play, socialize and just have some dog-gone fun. Honor your pup here!
Looking for cool gifts for your four-legged friend? Head over to the Lake's Edge Gift Shop in the First Horizon Foundation Visitor Center where you'll find toys, accessories, dog themed gifts and more! Plus, all dog merchandise is 25% off through Sunday, August 31. Find hours here!
