    Our friends at City of Memphis Solid Waste Management are giving away free mulch on Saturday, April 24 and Sunday, April 25 from 8am-4pm.  BYO-Tools to the southwest corner of Gardener Road + Farm Road to self-load your free mulch. While you’re loading up your mulch, pick up free red zinnia seeds as part of the Paint the Town Red campaign through Memphis City Beautiful!

    WHERE: First Horizon Foundation Visitor Center - Buffalo Room

    We've got a new fleet of bicycles so we're selling off our old fleet at a bike sale! We'll have over 50 bikes for sale, plus bike parts and accessories.

    • Prices start at $25. All proceeds from the bike sale support the daily operation and maintenance of Shelby Farms Park and Shelby Farms Greenline.

    • Bikes are sold as-is and the majority of them are not “road ready”. 

    • They will need a little TLC.

    • No returns, refunds or exchanges.

    • Cash + credit card accepted

    Hoop Fitness is a low-impact, full body cardio workout that can burn up to 700 calories per hour! Workouts will increase core strength, balance, coordination, posture, muscle tone and self confidence, all while having fun!

    This isn't your kid's hula hoop! This class uses adult sized hula hoops that make it easier to maintain momentum while waist hooping and that will build strength while moving the hoop around the body. 

    You are welcome to bring your own fitness hoop or you may borrow one from the instructor. A limited number of hoops will be available in a range of sizes on a first come, first served basis.
