Great Backyard Bird Count

Join us as we walk the trails of Shelby Farms Park identifying and counting birds! We will join thousands of people worldwide who collect data on wild birds and submit their counts online.  This citizen-science project is an annual four-day event each February creating a snapshot of the distribution and abundance of birds. Date + Time: Sunday, February 17, 2pm-3pm
Meeting Location: First Tennessee Foundation Visitor Center 
What to wear: Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes (hike may include unpaved trails)
What to bring: Bring your binoculars and a personal water bottle
What not to bring: Please leave pets and strollers at home
