Here, you'll find information about activities and programs that only take place during a specific season, like Canoes + Cocktails during the summer, fun fall events and holiday fun in the winter!

CANOES + COCKTAILS

Kick off your weekend with Canoes + Cocktails presented by Velo Shelby Farms Friday nights from April through September! Rent a canoe, kayak or bring your own boat and enjoy the best views of the Memphis sunset with a guided paddle on the iconic Hyde Lake followed by snacks, specialty cocktails provided by Old Dominick Distillery, yard games and more. Canoes don’t float your boat?  No problem! Purchase a “Social Only” ticket and enjoy the fun that happens after the guided paddle.

This is a 21+ event which supports the daily operations of Shelby Farms Park and Shelby Farms Greenline. 

OPEN WATER SWIM CLINICS 

Register for the open water swim clinic to get tips, advice and training from professional swim and triathlon coaches! The clinic is open to a wide range of skill levels. Shelby Farms Park, along with community partners are offering a limited number of sessions and time slots for registered participants to swim a small course in Hyde Lake. There will be lifeguards on duty, as well as coaches and volunteers near the shore and in the water on kayaks, paddle boards and/or boats. You can sign up to volunteer as an in-water spotter to receive a free session. Each session is $15. You can also sign up for a season pass.
